Not Built in a Day

As we embark on new adventures or as we set out to reach new goals, it is important to remember that growth takes times. We must slowly replace an old habit with a new, healthier or more productive habit. And we must be kind to ourselves as we work towards our goals. It is important that we are nice to ourselves and focus on progress, not perfection along the way. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and so our goals don’t need to be met tomorrow. As long as we set realistic goals, create an action plan, and stick to the daily steps according to our plan, our goals will be reached. When we focus on the process and be strategic with our time and our efforts, the outcome will be favorable. Just like flowers- it takes daily nurturing and time, but the outcome is beautiful.
