Eating “clean” or healthy can be pretty and fun! There’s no reason to think that eating healthy is boring. A little creativity can go a long way! Take time to enjoy your food and the preparation process. Think about why we eat. Think about the nutrients you are putting into your body that provide nourishment- energy for your mind and body, fuel for your activities.
Think about the time and energy it takes to prepare the food… let it be enjoyable, maybe even meditative. Enjoy the creative process. Enjoy feeling, smelling, seeing, tasting, and maybe even hearing your creations. Food is more than a filler. Food is more than a necessity. Learn to appreciate it and enjoy it with all five senses. Let it be.
